Cookies are small text files that the browser stores when the User visits a website. They serve to recognize the User on future visits, keep them logged in, and remember preferences.
In addition to cookies, the Brand's platforms use localStorage — the browser's local storage — for similar purposes and, in some instruments, to keep the User's own answers on their device.
Without these, the platforms do not work:
| Item | Purpose | Source | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Firebase authentication cookie | Keeps the User logged in | Google (Firebase) | Session / up to 1 hour |
| Consent record | Stores acceptance of the terms and of data processing | The platform itself (localStorage) | Permanent until manually cleared |
| Session tokens | Identifies the account across pages | The platform itself | Session |
Several of the Brand's instruments store the User's own answers in the browser's localStorage, so that they can close the page and continue where they left off.
When the User is redirected to a payment platform's checkout, cookies from that platform may be set to process the transaction. These cookies are governed by the platform's own policy — for example, Hotmart's Privacy Policy.
The User can block or delete cookies through their browser settings:
On the first visit, we display a notice requesting consent to data processing and to essential cookies. The User's choice is recorded locally.
This policy is reviewed periodically. Relevant changes will be announced by notice on the platforms or by email.
Questions about cookies may be addressed to the email provided in the footer.
